Strategic Planning
Prior to the commencement of any direct marketing program, TLC reviews and analyzes each client's past experience and marketing programs and then provides a written appraisal and a series of recommendations on new directions, markets and creative concepts.

Program Management
After our strategic and market analysis has been completed, TLC creates a Marketing Plan detailing individual programs for specific markets. The Marketing Plan includes strategy and concepts for each market segment and the development of testing matrices for each. The plan is continuously re-evaluated and revisions are made based on results and new research.

Message Development
Before implementing the tactical elements of a particular marketing program, TLC works with the client to define each market segment. TLC then determines a message or messages appropriate to that segment. Public opinion surveys, focus groups, file segmentation and results analysis are still used to analyze each market and message.

Voter mail, Educational kits, direct mail fundraising packages, Get-Out-The-Vote materials, absentee ballot and vote-at-home mail, brochures, package inserts, space advertisements, telemarketing scripts, television, radio and multi-media promotions are designed and created for the client's approval by TLC's Creative Team.

Production Management
The entire production process is managed and tracked by our Production Team. This past year, TLC's Production Team produced over 55 million pieces of mail for over forty different clients. This combined buying power allows us to get exceptionally low prices for all of our clients regardless of size. We work with over seventy different printers, four color separation shops, personalization firms, mailshops and fulfillment houses. Our standard bidding process requires our Production Team to solicit a minimum of three bids for each job we produce. All production jobs are awarded to vendors based on quality, price and turn around time.

The best creative idea is only an idea until it goes into production -- and all too often a great idea doesn't work because it can't be produced cost-effectively. TLC will take the headache out of designing cost-effective pieces and figure out the best way to produce a package.

Results and File Analysis
To better analyze your direct response projects, TLC provides our clients with a set of results that summarizes the cost/benefit of each promotion, comparing all lists and market segments.
