Celebrating the history of Jews in America
The National Museum of American Jewish History is the only national museum dedicated to telling the story of Jews in America. In the fall of 2010 the NMAJH opened a new 100,000 square foot museum on Independence Mall in Philadelphia. Prior to the opening the museum had less than 1,000 members. The Lukens Company was brought on board to develop a direct marketing and membership program for the museum with the goal of expanding the membership base within both the local and national markets.
In the year and a half since the launch of the direct marketing program for NMAJH, the museum acquired upwards of 17,000 new members. TLC also worked with NMAJH on an extensive online advertising test to drive both membership support as well as email list generation. As the museum’s housefile grows, we will continue to cultivate members for subsequent appeal and upgrade giving in order to offset attrition following the building opening.
