Account Executive – East Coast

Job Description

The Lukens Company (TLC) is seeking a versatile individual for a dual position at our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA. The Account Executive serves as a direct link between the agency and our clients, providing ongoing support and serving as a primary point of contact, assuring long-term customer relationships.

This person will report directly to the Account Director of the Nonprofit department.

TLC is an award-winning, full-service direct response agency that has been providing marketing and fundraising services to political and nonprofit clients for over 30 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible of managing multi-channel campaigns for multiple clients.
  • Forecast and build budgets and costs for each integrated program, on an annual basis.
  • Coordinate and implement campaigns, ensuring completion within budget and on time.
  • Record and submit billing for each campaign.
  • Lead production and creative team in the development and execution of campaigns for client’s programs and ensuring that all schedules are met and accurate to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns, assess results and provide analysis for each direct response campaign.
  • Work closely, obtain approval, and make decisions on campaign issues with production managers, copywriters, graphic designers, list managers, data analysts, and digital services on all direct-mail integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to account assigned to manage.

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in membership/fundraising, non-profit direct response, and marketing, preferred
  • Knowledge of direct response best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, including drafting, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Analytical, decision-making and management skills
  • Creativity and organization skills
  • Proficient in computer software and office equipment
